Hello guys and welcome back to JHRider. In this article , I will inform about Hero motorcorp's newly launched motorcycles . Hero motorcorp is one of the most famous motorcycle manufacturing companies in India. hero motorcorp is generally known for producing best in class, reliable and economical motorcycles. But in 2013 Hero launched it's first Dual Sport motorcycle '' Hero Impulse'' . Impulse was a 149.2cc dual-sport motorcycle which became a massive success. In 2016 hero motorcorp discontinued the Impulse due to low demand in the markets.
After one year at EICMA ( Esposizione Internazional Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori) Hero showcased the Xpulse 200 which is a ADV motorcycle.
Finally in 2019, Hero motorcorp launched three new motorcycles namely : -
Hero Xpulse 200 (EICMA 2017)
Hero Xpulse 200T (EICMA 2018)
Hero Xtreme 200S
So, In this article I will be giving information only ababo the Hero Xpulse 200 and 200T. there will be a dedicated article on Heo Xtreme 200S.
Let's firstly see what all the Hero Xpulse 200 has
HERO XPULSE 200
Hero Motorcorp introduced the Xpulse 200 back in 2017 EICMA. Hero Xpulse 200 is a ADV. Xpulse 200 is equipped with a 199.6 cc air cooled single cylinder engine coupled up with a 5 speed gearbox. This engine produces a maximum power of 18.4 PS at 8000 rpm and 17. 1 NM of torque 6500 rpm. The other features are, the Xpulse 200 gets longer suspension travel which will help in off-roading and a ground clearance of 220 mm along with knobby tires which will be very useful while doing off roads. The motorcycle gets circular headlamp which gives the motorcycle retro looks but it holds some of the essential features of the present time. The motorcycle gets LED Headlamp along with a bluetooth enabled fully digital instrumental console with a USB charging port. The Xpulse 200 gets a 21 inch and 18 inch spoke wheel at front and rear respectively. Talking about breaking it gets disc brakes at front and rear along with single channel ABS. The motorcycle stands as the most affordable ADV in indian market. There are two variants of this motorcycle one has carburetter fuel delivery system which costs Rs. 97,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), while the another one is fuel injected which costs Rs. 1.05 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
HERO XPULSE 200 T
Hero motocorp introduced the Xpulse 200T in 2018 EICMA. This motorcycle uses the same 199.6 cc engine with the same gearbox but the gear ratios are different and has a smaller rear sprocket compared to the Xpulse 200. The Xpulse 200T is a combination of Xpulse 200 and Xtreme 200 R, as it gets the alloy wheels along with the braking system, ABS and swing arm directly from the Xtreme 200 R, where it gets the chassis, headlamp and the same Bluetooth enabled fully digital instrumental console along with the engine from the Xpulse 200. Hero Xpulse 200T doesn't gets this smoke visor from the Xpulse 200 as well as the name Xpulse 200T is written in different font if we compared to Xpulse 200. Although this motorcycle is priced at Rs. 94,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
